History -

Pulau Ujong or Singapore Island is the main island of Singapore. It is part of the Malay Archipelago and is located at the tip of Peninsular Malaysia.

The island forms the majority of the country in terms of area and population as citizens are unable to reside in smaller islands of Singapore.

With a population of 5,469,700 and an area of 710 square kilometres, Pulau Ujong is the 21st most populous island in the world and the 31st most densely populated island in the world.

History -

Bukit also known as either Bukit Batok New Town or Bukit Batok Town, and often abbreviated as Bt. Batok, is a planning area and matured residential town straddling along the eastern boundary of the West Region of Singapore. Bukit Batok statistically ranks in as the 25th largest, the 12th most populous and the 11th most densely populated planning area in the Republic.

It is bordered by six other planning areas surrounding it, Choa Chu Kang to the north and north-west, Bukit Panjang to the north-east and east, Clementi to the south, Bukit Timah to the south-east, Jurong East to the south-west and Tengah to the west. Bukit Batok largely sits on Gombak norite, a geological formation that is found in high concentrations within the planning area itself, as well as in the western parts of neighbouring Bukit Panjang. 

It was this presence of the igneous rock that made Bukit Batok a pivotal location for the quarrying industry in Singapore around the turn of the mid-20th century. In the early stages of the South-East Asian Theatre of World War II, Bukit Batok became significant ground for both the Allied and Axis powers.

Serangoon, also known as Serangoon New Town, is a planning area and residential town located in the North-East Region of Singapore.

The town has a total of seven subzones, Serangoon Central, Lorong Chuan, Upper Paya Lebar, Serangoon Gardens, Serangoon North and Seletar Hills and Serangoon North Industrial Estate.

For public transport, Serangoon is served by Mass Rapid Transit trains on the North-East Line and Circle Line at Serangoon MRT Station. The town is also served by public bus services.

Woodlands, also known as either Woodlands New Town or Woodlands Town, is a planning area and residential town located in the North Region of Singapore.

It connects Singapore with Malaysia's southernmost city, Johor Bahru, via the Johor-Singapore Causeway.

Pulau Ubin, also called Ubin Island, is an island situated in the north east of Singapore, to the west of Pulau Tekong. is one of the last rural areas to be found in Singapore, with an abundance of natural flora and fauna.

The island forms part of the Ubin–Khatib Important Bird Area, identified as such by BirdLife International because it supports significant numbers of visiting and resident birds, some of which are threatened.
